Rossiter & Sons is proud to be members of the National Association Of Jewellers (formerly National Association of Goldsmiths) since 1919.

The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) was formed in 2015 through the unification of the British Jewellers' Association (BJA) and National Association of Goldsmiths (N.A.G) and represents over 2,000 members whose businesses operate in every aspect of the jewellery industry.

The NAJ offer targeted industry-leading professional development and training and inspire consumer confidence to purchase from its members through a Code of Practice setting the highest standards of professionalism, honesty, and ethical business practices.

The Coat of Arms is a Mark of Quality that we proudly display to build an enduring bond of trust with our consumers. The NAJ is the largest trade association member within The British Allied Trades Federation (BATF), where the BJA has thrived for many years.

The Gemmological Association

Mr John T Rossiter is an FGA (Fellow of the Gemmological Association).

The Gemmological Association of Great Britain, or Gem-A, is the world’s longest established provider of gem and jewellery education. Our Gemmology Diploma evolved from the first gem course proposed for the UK jewellery trade in 1908, and our prestigious Gemmology and

Diamonds Diplomas — taught in seven different languages and 26 countries around the world — are recognised throughout the world.

Gem-A forms an international community of gem professionals and enthusiasts. We serve the interests of the gem and jewellery industries through the high standards of education on our courses and our support for global gemmological research. We also offer membership opportunities, the chance to buy gemmological instruments, a number of events and conferences throughout the year, as well as two internationally distributed publications, The Journal of Gemmology and Gems&Jewellery.

Weston-super-Mare Chamber of Trade and Commerce

Rossiter & Sons has also been a long-standing member of the Weston-super-Mare Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

All members are businesses that are based in or have trade links to Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding area.

Our Mission Statement is to promote and be a voice for business interests in the Weston-super-Mare area.
