Old Rossiter Pocket Watch arrives with tourist
We were delighted to chat to a tourist from Salford today, who arrived in our Weston showroom. When he reached into his pocket he brought out a 1920's Rossiter pocket watch.
The gentleman explained he worked in a home for ex-servicemen and women, and when he mentioned to a friend in Worcester, his friend said that Rossiters were still operating.
So on a trip to Bath with his wife, he popped across to see us.
This watch would have been sold by our great, great grandfather, pictured with his family below.
The watch is currently on display in Broughton House, Salford, a rest home for ex-service men and women.
